Tonight we went to Cooper’s basketball award ceremony.  It was a lot of fun and Cooper got a new backpack!  After the award ceremony, we went to the CAA Championship game between Drexel and Towson.  We only stayed for the first period, but if it’s any indication, Drexel’s not going on to the next round.

Today I was out with my boss and a couple others scouting a possible location for a new cell site.  I got a great picture of the Laburnum house, built by Joseph Bryan (an important post-Civil War businessman in Richmond) in 1906 when the original house (built in 1849) burned down.  More info on the house and the Historic Laburnum Park District can be found here and here.  The house is beautiful, and I thought it was fun to stumble on some old Richmond that I didn’t know was there.

After dinner tonight, the kids and I went out to play in the snow for what may be the last time.  They’ve figured out how to use their sleds on the slide and I’ve got to admit it looks really fun!

Today I again had more cell site troubles than I had technicians to fix them.  So, I took a generator to King William, VA.  At the end of this field, if you look closely, you can see some of the rides at King’s Dominion.

This day will be known as the great snow of 2009!  I know many of you deal with a lot more snow than Richmond, but this is a lot of snow for us.

I’m not saying I’ll post a new picture or gallery every day, but I plan to try.  The new camera is lots of fun, and someone once said, “If you want to take good pictures, you have to take lots of pictures!”
