Returning to normal? What’s that like?

Well, Aunt Kitty and Uncle Kitty went home today. Everyone is very sad to see them go. To alleviate this sadness, I went in search of Muppet’s Party Cruise for the PlayStation 2. I tried both local used game stores and didn’t find it. However, I did find it for the Gamecube. A local high school boy donated the Gamecube to us. So, we were able to have a normal Sunday evening playing Muppet’s Party Cruise. Anything that can be considered normal right now is a comfort to us all. It makes us feel like we have our lives back a little bit.
Speaking of getting our lives back…tomorrow I go back to work for the first time since the fire. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I can’t believe that only two people have checked their smoke detectors. Well, at least we’ve prevented one problem. Ted found that one of his was missing a battery! Keep it up. I want everyone to report back that they’ve checked them.

By the way, Ted. If I can make it down to 5erFest in 07, I’ll take the rematch. If not, I’ll see you on your home turf in 08!
