An open Thank You to all my Family, Friends, and Neighbors

Early Saturday Morning, I awoke to the smoke detector. This was not a false alarm [Link to Video]. The family is safe and sound, and now we’re beginning to rebuild our lives.

I am writing this as a thank you to everyone in the community, our family, friends, neighbors, and my employer. We have lost everything, literally, and you have stepped up to help in such a way that I never thought possible.  We’re nowhere near being ‘back on our feet’ but you’ve set us in the right direction and continue to help and it’s the most wonderful thing in the world.

I have never in my life felt as much love, kindess, and caring as I feel now. Christmas has new meaning to me, and to my family.

Midlothian, Brandermill, Swift Creek Elementary, nTelos, iSoldIt Midlothian, the Fire Dept., and the Chesterfield County Supervisors,

Thank you.
