Finkbuilt ? Blog Archive ? DIY Fuel Injection Conversion
Jalopnik pointed this one out yesterday. Finkbuilt is a great blog, and currently he’s converting his ‘hot rod’ e12 2002 over to EFI with Megasquirt. I’ve seen a few guys doing Megasquirt conversions on their e28 M30’s, but never in the detail that Finkbuilt is describing. Plus, thier conversions were Motronic EFI to Megasquirt EFI. Most of the work was done, except hooking up and programming the Megasquirt kit. Finkbuilt has to buy a bunch of new parts and, from reading a couple of archive posts, he’s been buying parts for a while and has quite the beast of a little motor there. We’ve got to talk this guy into next year’s 5erFest!!!
