Jalopnik has a new article in the required reading section about the BMW e39 M5 written by Robert Farago of The Truth About Cars. This article beautifully describes the second generation Q-ship. This should be required reading for BMW engineers who will work on the post-E60 M5 (it’s too late to save the E60…). It will remind them of the soul that the ///Motorsports marque brings to a BMW, and hopefully (sorry Joel) shake the Bangle out of the butt.
