This week I finally got around to reinstalling my rear seat. This was more fuss than I originally thought it would be. The ‘carpet’ on the rear deck had separated, so I had to press it back down (didn’t have glue handy). This is a replacement carpet, so it’s actually black. The parcel shelf is separated in the middle to make room for the rear sunshade (added by the PO), so it nearly fell apart while it was out of the car.
I also stole the front speakers from my brother-in-law’s M5 parts car. My front right speaker was ‘buzzy’ and I haven’t had front sound for about 6 months. It’s nice to hear the stereo when the windows are down again!
